How is spending $99 for a program that makes…. notes…. worth it? There’s gotta be something free out there or at least cheaper that works just as well…
If you don’t need audio indexing and are comfortable with external software EverNote (http://www.evernote.com/) is a solid competitor. In some ways it offers a better solution, it’s multiplatform and sync’s to the web. Of course it’s free that always helps.
I’d still choose Onenote as my preferred solution. If you’re looking low cost EverNote is a good pick.
